Our history

Already in 1870, Don Vincenzo, on his family fishing boat, was fishing the most delicious products of the Neapolitan gulf, making them available to the best fish shops in Naples and to the surrounding areas. With his constant work, day after day he handed down this passion from generation to generation up to Carlo, who decided to serve his own catch himself, by opening a restaurant at Borgo Marinari, in one of the most fascinating spots in the Gulf of Naples. Today Officina del Mare still preserves the passion for genuine and refined cuisine with its dishes, prepared preserving the simple taste of the Mediterranean tradition, mixed with the most sought-after recipes.
